I have recognized the need to talk to one of the choir members I am leading. For days, I let the time pass thinking that I can talk to him some other time. Last night, I had the chance to talk to him. I am glad that I talked to him. I found out that being a youth, he was experiencing an identity crisis. I tried to encourage him that I passed through that stage (not too mention that I am already far older than him). True, our experiences can be used by God to teach the young ones if we take time to talk to them. I hate to believe that sometimes we tend to give more importance to work even if we see that our neighbor is desperately in need of someone to talk to.
I learned that spending time on work or personal benefits and rights is not time well spent in comparison to letting someone know that we care.
