if...am here....

".....if you got stuff to talk about, I'm here."
This is one of the text messages I received from one of my friends when I was in the midst preparing for our wedding. Adding pressures were the requirements in school.

It is so comforting and a relief to have people around when you are in need of encouragement and when you are happy. That text message was real because in the course of our preparation, a number of people were used by God to strengthen me/us. Many of them are my close friends from different walks of life, niece/s, nephews, relatives in general. They, in different levels have encouraged us with their words and acts of kindness. I believe that many of them have not stopped ministering to me/us (for Esther is with me now as my wife). Many of them show it often by their care and concern be it by email, prayer or in other ways.

I am now reminded how important for us to let people know how grateful we are because of them before it is too late to say we care. A few days ago, I received a message from a friend how much He appreciated me. I can only give credit to God. It was good to hear though. It energizes us and makes us aware that there are people whom God allows us to touch through the life He gave us.

I am forever grateful to God for real friends He has blessed me for. Two of our official photographers(who are our friends) did their job from their heart. Mike who was there to assist me was another blessing. Niece M (who had more than enough trouble before and during the wedding ceremony), the Lord has used you in special ways. Of course the translation team is a team I think I can grow with despite the fact that we all have our own differences. Yet am also happy to see that each one is endowed with different gifts so that we might share to our people what God has entrusted us to share. Thank you to Bong too.

Am grateful that God has called us all into His vineyard. Definitely, our labor in the the Lord is not in vain. Let us keep our focus on Him no matter what people say that what we are doing is insignificant. Many of our principal witnesses traveled quite far just to be with us on our wedding. It was another bonus for us to see them spare day/s for our wedding. Thank you for the way you are going to pray for us.

I wish I can name everyone, my cousin mayor, my sisters and brothers who did their job without me hearing them complain. I can not count them all. Grateful to God. I was quite sad though that one of my sisters (Sapina) was not there. I hope she gets restored to God soon as I often pray. Blessings to everyone oh God!
