Bring back the glory....

I wish it were the same as before..................

Let me share a bit of the village I grew up in. When I was younger, I often heard pleasing words about our village. People in other places would testify to their good experiences and observations in our place. I have not heard any demeaning remark as far as I can remember. The people's hospitality and clean living in terms of vices and moral standards are above par compared to other places. In fact, one local radio announcer made a statement praising the people in our village for their strong stand against drinking hard liquor. Eighty five percent of the people in our village became Christians. God in his grace and mercy blessed the labor of the missionaries. A reputable small place or village can be recognized and respected. Its name when heard is enough to testify about its glory without necessarily being proclaimed!

The invasion of what people call "civilization" with advanced technology came. Lifestyle changed. The free time that used to be spent talking with neighbors was replaced with what people claim today as being more advanced than other places in technology, but these materials have destroyed the natural satisfaction of meeting human needs.

Is there a need for the old glory to be restored in my place? May your glory shine in my place!
